This version of the Now I'm Here reprise is from a copy of the show going back to the mid-2000s. After :56 there is an edit into another show (incidentally with what seems to be the only known version of Freddie singing "go, go, go little queenie" at 2:00) along with an edit into the ending of the song from that other show at 2:23, as if to suggest the band went on much longer than they actually did - anyone know which show this is from ?
Ryan Newton - maybe you know, since you've recently dissected the whole European tour ?
What's also interesting is they don't go into the ending as planned at 0:52, as they keep playing the main progression (Freddie even shouts "do the change!" at :56 hoping to get them back on track), but sadly the genuine tape cuts out before we can find out how they managed to get out of it !

It sounds like he's singing "go Johnny go," around other bits as well as this line, so this section is almost certainly taken from the guitar solo after the second verse, but I have no idea which show its from. I'll check around to figure out if it matches anything.

Yep, you're right. I was checking at the wrong timestamps. I've asked a few other people to check around as well because I quickly scanned all the euro 82 versions and couldn't find a match.

Alright, so my group of people has not found a single match for this bit of audio. My own assumption is that this is likely a piece from a Gothenburg 82 tape as Freddie's voice really sounds like early 82 to me (and it's surely no later than 1982), but anyone else is more than welcome to take a crack at this mystery.

For sure, it's spring 1982 - that's Morgan Fisher heard at 2:26.
Not sure if I'm willing to jump to the Gothenburg conclusion just yet. Or maybe it really is an alternate source from Stockholm and that's just how they played the song on the first couple nights of the tour (and 2:23 isn't an edit after all).

2:23 does sound like its one bit of tape, and the "little queenie" thing from Fred would be explained by that. Just seems a bit odd for them to do a whole other solo section. But then again, the next show has Brian's whole solo ham-fisted into the medley, so anything is possible!

Maybe one day another source will turn up to reveal the truth. For now, it's one of those delightful mysteries.

Sounds like the tape got jammed and damaged. Pay attention to audience's hand clapping. Freddie adlibbing little queenie both at 0:56 and 2:02 is another little hint. Just my subjective opinion, no technical or historical proof, but I'd bet money this is the same show.
