I did know that a few of these albums were worth a fortune, but I was surprised to find this Queen one in the mix - and its not the usual suspects either.....

Figured that would be the album. I was fortunate to pick up a copy when it first came out and has sat unplayed in my collection.

I got as far as '1968 pre-fame Rolling Stones' and stopped clicking the clickbait.

I’ve a copy of Queen Rocks Heavy weight double vinyl from 1997...but I think that no one I know is willing to pay him more than € 300/400 ...

The article suggested it was the US pressing that was the rarity, no?

Upon reflection, I think the info is off a little. It sounds like they are referencing a Hollywood Records release, but I recall there was no such release. I remember the local record shops having the UK release instead. And for the price they are quoting, I wonder if it’s this version: www.discogs.com/Queen-Queen-Rocks/release/3888289The re-release with alternate cover.

Queen Rocks standard UK version is £200-300, getting the higher end if yer lucky and it's in great shape. Sealed might fetch more if there's a bidding war on it. The alternate sleeve I've seen going in the £800-1000 region.
I've also seen Montreal hitting the £300-400 mark, as well as the Absolute Greatest 3LP box. Greatest Hits III can be between £150-400, or so it seems.
The Marvel "This Is Their World"/ NOTW novelty pressing is eye-wateringly expensive now.
It's all madness!
