I love this photo, one of my alltime favourite Freddie shots. The more I look at it, the more I see, the more I think. It speaks in volumes, at least to me. Could I bother someone to send me the highest possible quality jpg or png (if it is not breaking any copyright or forum rules, of course)? Would really appreciate it. Also any info about this photo is welcome (at least who actually took it). I should know that already, but unfortunately I don't. My guess is Neal Preston. Apologies if it is already uploaded in the Queen In Photos thread, I do follow that thread, but it would take me hours to scroll through over 50 pages to search for it. Thanks in advance!

When I think about it, I’m in that picture - one of the blurred faces in the top left corner...
I can legitimately tell people I had my photo taken with Freddie 😂😂

Are you sure that’s Wembley? When I first looked at it thought it was Maine Road due the proximity of the audience st the side and their gradient. Wembley a lot bigger. Then found this link... www.queenlive.ca/queen/86-07-16.htmApologies if not clickable - on a phone Also the stage front end is different. Not sure if this link works but show aerial shot of Wembley. images.app.goo.gl/R2Ka5LmmPKt6JJ4p7And one final observation - the stadium security in London I think wore yellow - in Manchester they wore white. You can see three of them to the right. if it is Manchester I’m in the shot somewhere

Couple of other points of Wembley/Manchester distinction:
♦ raised section of the stands were better illuminated at Wembley - as the roof was much higher ♦ Maine Road "anti-hooligan" fencing was angled-backwards towards spectators - to prevent climbing (clearly visible in photo). Wembley fencing was vertical.

Neil Preston took some similar styled photos from this position, so I was pretty sure it was him. Thank you all for clearing things up and for the link of the official print!

This is how it makes me feel. Nicely done.
Indeed, on first glance it's the smiles on people's faces that I noticed.
And nobody on a phone. A bygone era.

Not only are they not on phones but, of all those people, I think I only see about three even taking a picture. So many happy people. Amazing picture!
