I don't know about it being fake live as it wouldn't have sounded like that, but it sure is a much better music video than some of the official attempts at doing the same thing.

I have that one on a CD in my car, it mixes live and studio really well, a very nice alternative. someone should sync it to that alternative unused take from that was shown at the convention a year ago, it would complete the live feel.

The guy also did this one a few years ago. He used the same process with Hitman.
Even if it’s much less realistic (different shots from differents lives) the moment Freddie blackmails the crowd stick so well...
