Hi everyone, I am sharing a video that changes from 4: 9 to 16: 9. I want to know your opinions: To change the aspect ratio you need the Chinwonder2 video, here is the link of your channel: www.youtube.com/user/Chinwonder2

I don't like it, when you see widened images of people out of proportion. I want to see the musicians and everything as real as possible. I don't mind 4:3 on a 16:9 screen. I also don't mind a mono record played on a stereo system. It gets annoying, if the mono is artificially widened to simulate stereo while losing any punch...

I have to agree here, converting 4:3 to 16:9 and vice versa just never seems right

I have to agree here, converting 4:3 to 16:9 and vice versa just never seems right I just wanted to know how it looked in a 16: 9 aspect ratio and I uploaded the video to know what they thought If the basic material would have a higher resolution, it might work to create a new excerpt from that picture. But stretching or squeezing a whole pic to a different format never works. And even if the basic material is great and you use an excerpt, you lose a lot of elements like the lights above the stage. The cameramen for the 4:3 ratio did all they could to make best use of that format.
