Uhh, Hello! this my first post on this forum, I'm here to ask for some help, Someone on The Queen Discord Just mentioned there was an interview on dutch radio with a photographer that attended the leiden shows on the magic tour and took some photos, but apparently lost them until now. they posted the photos on their instagram account i think, the problem is I don't know the name of the account. if anyone has heard about this too please help, Thanks in advance! William Rutten is the name of the photographer.

They wore different outfits on the three nights, so it shouldn't be hard to figure out.

He posted the pictures on August 9, 2016. His tweet was in Dutch, so here's the translation (the translation from Google was a bit rough so I tried making it a bit clearer): "30 years ago, Queen gave their last performance in the original line-up. Earlier that year I took pictures of the band 3 times in Leiden and that turned out to be some of their last concerts afterwards.... Still one of the best live bands ever for me! Have you ever seen them live?" I took a screenshot of the post (which includes Google's translation), and also cropped out the pictures. P.S. Happy Birthday, Brian!

So many amazing shots - but this one is the grand champion.
What guitar is this? I wonder if it was used during any recording session, or it's just the guitar Freddie had in his flat.

Here are some other pics I don't believe are too common. Yamaguchi 1979, taken by Hydeo Tanaka I restored this photo. I have it with and without his name.

Wait, I just checked Yamaguchi 1979 in queenlive.ca, and I saw that my picture was (maybe) used. I'm not mad or anything, I'm just wondering if it actually is my restoration.

Alright folks, here's another big photo dump. Pretty much all from the News of the World Tour. Atlanta, December 8th 1977. Taken by Michael Mastro This one was labelled as Inglewood, but this is definitely not the case, as Freddie wore his checkered outfit that night. Still, great pic. Probably from Oakland, as he wore the stripes there. No info on the photographer. Stafford, May 7th 1978. Taken by Kevin Cummings US 1977, but not much more info than that. Another pic without much info, but it's a great shot from the US leg. Portland, November 11th 1977. Unknown photographer. UK 1978. Unknown photographer. These next three pics were all taken by Paul McAlpine. I tried to do some detective work to figure out which gigs these were from but came up with nothing. Assuming he attended shows around the same area, the last pic is a Races Tour pic, and John has his Music Man bass, so I'm guessing he's from a city that got hit later in the Races Tour. Taken by Jeffrey Mayer. He's an LA-based photographer, so this is likely from one of the last three nights of the tour. Wembley 1978 (unknown night). Taken by Danny Clifford. Taken by Michael N Marks. I found his LinkedIn profile, which said he attended the University of Michigan, and in combination with the outfit, we can pretty safely conclude that this is likely Detroit 11/18/77. And here's a final one. Don't know who took this photo, but it's certainly one of the last four nights of the US Tour, as John's hand is patched up from the window he punched after the San Diego gig.

According to my friend's (queenfanatic) says it's a Martin D_18 it's also used at the recording of "Funny How Love Is" That's great. Thanks guys It's not a D-18. It looks like a copy of an acoustic similar to the Gibson Hummingbird. Probably a Japanese make (while the same name, it's different from the Tokai Hummingbird Brian used in the acoustic shows he did with Kerry.

My records show Paul McAlpine was from the New England area, taking photos in Boston and Springfield MA, at least.
Although the first photo we have of Deacon with his Music Man bass are in Philadelphia on Feb 11, it's always possible he tried it out at another gig like Springfield (Feb 3) before reverting back to his P Bass for a few nights (including Boston, Feb 9).
The first two shots should be from Springfield 11-13-77.
This shot by McAlpine is apparently from the Feb 3 show in Springfield as well:

That's great. Thanks guys It's not a D-18. It looks like a copy of an acoustic similar to the Gibson Hummingbird. Correct. If it was a Martin, it'd say so on the headstock.
