edit on 2020-09-26:
Effective immediately, photos with watermarks bearing Instagram handles or anything of the like (i.e. watermarks by anyone who is not the copyright owner or representing someone who is) are not allowed here. This is not a place to give free advertisement to social media "content creators."
Also prohibited effective immediately is upscaled photos using AI. This is a thread to share predominantly analog photographs of a band that were taken during a predominantly analog period. If it is an old photo and it does not look like it was taken about 30-50 years ago, it should not be here.
If anyone commits such transgressions, they will be given one warning and then they will be banned.
This is not a playground. Let's all show respect for photographers who wish to make a living (which is increasingly more difficult in this digital age), and ensure this is a place of quality over quantity.
Thanks everyone. Let's make this a beautiful thread.
============================
Let's have a thread for posting our favourite or unusual photos of our beloved band.
This is one of my favourites - taken the day after their first concert in Japan. They are young, sober, focused, and completely congruent with one another.
Anyone got it in higher res?

Interesting thread and choices so far! I've collected so far around 1000 photos that I find intersting enough to keep so I might upload here something unusual.

Really love this photo of Freddie at work.
Love that shot. Here's another one taken by Brian on the same day - anyone got a nice hi res version of it?

Perhaps this one is higher res? That's a lower res picture with brighter colours. Not what he's looking for. I was able to find this one, but it's barely a higher resolution.

And one from the same day as the Jazz inner sleeve shot. Are there any more of these?

The 12/19/1979 photos are so amusing to me. Only a few spotlights around Roger's drum due to the size of the venue! How I HOPE an audience recording exists..

I always liked this photo a lot, especially the oddness behind it..I wonder what the set sounded like on an old electric piano. Those early 70’s ones sounded nothing like an actual piano haha. ibb.co/Pm2VfNn

It looks none of those really small Crazy tour shows in London were recorded. I regret that, would be so cool to hear a 1979 Queen show in front of such a small audience. I adore this picture!

Another from Brian's Queen in 3D book - from the debut album sessions. Deacon is playing the Dillinger acoustic Brian would play on The Night Comes Down and Jealousy.
Anyone got a better scan? My scanner only does A4 size, so it's a bit cropped.

Apparently it was called the Crazy tour not because they had just put out Crazy Little Thing Called Love, but because some people thought a band as big as them were crazy for playing such small venues !
