Can we please not pollute this thread with photos containing people's Instagram channel watermarks ?
Let's either Photoshop them out or find better copies of the photos. If these professional "content creators" (who are probably not even old enough to have been alive when the band was around) can find these pics, then surely we can find them too.

Some Hyde Park 1976 photos Great stuff - some I've never seen before.
This one needed to be horizontally flipped:

Sorry I'm angry like you that they puts their account's name watermarks on the original pics as some promotions to their account. I couldn't find the original pics so I sent them

That was a bit rude, but anyways, here are some pictures of Queen performing during the NOTW tour (original pics from a 1978 article). They had lots of different colored lines, so I made some of them black and white so you guys don't get any headaches (only the ones that didn't have any other color to them). The pictures might be from Portland, USA on November 11, 1977. (rough translation for left side: How Queen freaks out their fans rough translation for right side: John Deacon, Roger Taylor, Freddie Mercury, and Brian May started their US tour with a great show: Queen are really champions.) (rough translation: Sexy to the tip of your toe, Freddie Mercury) (rough translation: [Q]ueen: So they put the crown on their new show) (rough translation for left side: Start of the Queen tour in America! Not only was Freddie Mercury & Co. eye-catching, but also a huge thing that floated above their heads, flashing.)

As far as I understand they did it because they spent money buying the magazines off ebay and then went through scanning and polishing it. While the community here has the respect for the members sharing materials with each other for free, their audience don't have the same respect and usually spread this around without credits to the scan, polishing, etc. But as the photo isn't taken by them, I agree that the watermark shouldn't be there. The comment about their age I think is unnecessary.

The article says it was Portland, but it also speaks of „five Englishmen“, so the research was probably not that thorough...

The comment about their age I think is unnecessary. Of course you're right in principle - older people obviously can be ignorant of copyright laws too. I have encountered this plenty of times on my journeys.
But the overwhelming majority of proprietors of these social media accounts were socialized in a world where the concept of copyrights wasn't properly reinforced, where everything is instantly available and without accountability if things are reproduced without proper permission - to the point that they think they either "own" rights to images because they bought some old magazines, or they just don't care at all.
In this sense and so many others there is a huge divide between people over and under the age of ~30 - those who grew up with and without the internet. Of course plenty of younger people understand these things, but those who start up social media accounts with the primary objective of gathering followers rather than giving credit where credit is due are rarely amongst them.

Great observation !
An article at the time mentioned how all the South American shows in Feb/March were filmed.
Here's a translation:
"During every show, the making of the film 'Queen on tourne' continued, for which eight cameras were used. The film will be completed with images from the Sao Paulo and Rio concerts, in Brazil. Of course there will also be scenes of the American tour and Japan."
And by "filmed" of course that means videotape - in the photo it's almost certainly a camera for TV, not 16mm film or something.
Whether or not the US and Japanese shows were filmed remains a mystery, as not a single frame of footage has been otherwise seen or mentioned.

I really do hope they have footage of all Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo shows. They're all amazing shows. Even though the first night is the most sloppy one, I really have a soft spot for it. It's a truly historic night and the excitement in the air is really there every second of the night. The band fly through their set (with more chance if derailing but also making things even more exciting) and FM is so energetic and great sounding!

I've tried to find some pics without watermarks and here it's a rare one Roger with a clown like outfit.looks like palace theatre, Providence, USA April 27th 1974. There are some more new rare shots on queenlive.ca which I think are from palace theatre show as Roger appeared with the same outfit. http://instagram.com/p/CD7RpWPsarW

Let's have a thread for posting our favourite or unusual photos of our beloved band. This is one of my favourites - taken the day after their first concert in Japan. They are young, sober, focused, and completely congruent with one another.
Anyone got it in higher res? just bringing the first one back for something i noticed. - did anyone else clock that Freddie's wearing a jacket designed for women?

a very interesting fact about their outfits is they all were women outfits mainly. Also Roger wore a black top that was actually from Biba on Keep Yourself Alive and Liar video too. later in 1977 on Freddie's 31st birthday party Marry Austin wore the same top that Roger wore on Keep Yourself Alive and Liar video.
Keep Yourself Alive video
Freddie Mercury's 31st birthday
this cape like outfit and the black top that @вяейski mentioned are like one set of outfits. according to an account in insta that I've read that top and cape like outfit are women japanese clothes.
Imperial college 11/2/1973
moments before their first ever appearance on TOTP, 2/21/1974
also Brian's necklace was a necklace that Afghan and egyptian women were wearing before the concert at Hyde Park, 9/12/1976
Freddie's chain glove was also an indian glove that indian women are wearing
Rainbow theatre, 11/19/1974
probably the same concert
Marquee Club, 12/20/1972
the armband that Freddie has here is similar to egyptian women armbands. Roger also had a similar one to Freddie's armband on Keep Yourself Alive and Liar video
Imperial College,
10/26/1973
Queen II photoshoot session with Mick Rock at his studio Nove, ber 1973
also Freddie's white glove was a glove that women were wearing in around 1920s, 1930s and 1940s and during the world war I and II
Queen II tour in UK, unknown date.

actually you posted some pics on your site labeled as March show at rainbow theatre. the shots are a bit similar to the ones that were taken at palace theatre
if you look carefully you can see that Roger has the same outfit on the 3rd pic and also Freddie had makeup on March 1974 show of rainbow theatre but if you look carefully at pic 3rd too you can see he appeared without makeup. I'm not sure it's EXACTLY from palace theatre show but I've got feeling it's from that show.
the pics that you've labeled as March show of rainbow are similar to this shots and the venue looks similar to palace theatre

Nicely spotted - buttons on the left side.
Plenty of heterosexual guys in the music biz wear women's clothing - and with good reason.
