Not a bad song. Not sure I'd have immediately recognised Roger on drums had I not known.

This might be the best pandemic song I've heard yet. It captures our shared feeling of helplessness amidst the torrent of bad news, with a perfectly paradoxical accompanying video. Understated yet hard-hitting and effective.
"I wanted the dancer to be like my alter ego, my wish fulfilment character, feeling free and expressive, while the real me is struggling to deal with the 'crisis' surrounding him."
He was in Nick Mason's touring band doing the early pre-Dark Side Pink Floyd stuff, and he says it gave him the confidence to do this.
Marvellous musical arrangement too. Roger's style in the back half is unmistakably him.

Thought it was standard radio 2 fare on first listen. Second time around I listened to the words a bit more - it’s ok and has good intention but it’s not a must have for me.

West of the Atlantic most pop music has become so horribly homogenized, and mainstream radio would never spin something half as complex. In the last 20 years maybe a dozen listenable and non-derivative songs have come out of the LA McMusic conveyor belt. You folks in the UK are lucky that you get to hear something that resembles music.

That made me chuckle!
Our radio 2 plays a lot of great music, the standardised rap/soul stuff that is more recent is usually on radio 1!!

I can remember Radio 1 was for the pop/rock music, and only older people listened to Jimmy Young and co. on Radio 2. How times have changed. Now the older people are still listening to Radio 2, but it was the things we used to listen to on Radio 1.

I tend to listen to BBC Local Radio now, as it's the things they used to play on Radio 2! 😄

It took me until almost the third minute mark when the hi-hat was opening and closing to the snare to recognize our Roger! lol

Around minute 3 some harmonized guitars sound like Brian, too. If i wasn't told i wouldn't have recognized Roger here though
