Does anyone know why his nickname is 'Ratty'? Did the members of Queen or he himself ever talk about this in interviews? Here's my best guess: he's called Ratty as he always sneaked himself on stage like a rat to take/give the mic from/to Freddie... Or maybe it was just Freddie giving everyone and everything a nickname and he got Ratty  |

It's an interesting look at the life of all of Queen's roadies. It's worth a read. |

Or maybe it was just Freddie giving everyone and everything a nickname and he got Ratty He said in a documentary - might have been A Life In 10 Pictures or an interview on The One Show - that he got the name from the band, because of his long thin hair that was always scruffy. |
