Bought the 2011 CD remaster of the works the other day (don't worry I'm planning to get the original 1984 CD!) and I noticed in the liner notes something about 'demolition fairlight'. Searching it up only brings up a slightly unsettling demo of Machines. Anyone got any info on it?

Demolition is an adjective, applying to the term "Fairlight programming", not a qualifier of the type of Fairlight being programmed.
It's the 80s version of Bechstein Debauchery

I think it was programmed by Mack. He also used it during the intro of Princes of the universe.

Mad stuff ... anybody notice the Roger Waters/Pink Floyd bass riff played once at about 1.03 ? Don't know if it was sampled or what, but they were years ahead of the Chemical Brothers
