I enjoyed watching this documentary, but can‘t find a great version without subtitles. Does anyone have a download link for the UK/European version? I have the US version. Then there’s the version from Oz. I believe that’s the same as the European one? Here is the best record that I was able to find on YouTube.

No idea about another version version of the documentary, but wow - Roger Taylor's quote at 11:00. I've always loved him for his candid honesty.

Thanks, but no. The 2nd video you posted has no sound (for most of it), I know these videos. I‘m looking for a download of the whole thing.

In the posted video you can actually hear what he‘s saying. In the version for US-TV all the swear words got censored. There had been a lot of „beeps“. Naughty Roger!

Thanks! That’s the version from ABC that I have. It doesn’t have the old bits from Japan and it’s a tiny bit different from the version posted above ( they censored Roger, how dare they! ). But for everyone, who doesn’t have it, it’s a good quality copy of the documentary.

But the Sky broadcast isn’t available in my country. The documentary hasn’t been broadcasted here yet. Maybe they planned to do it before the next QAL tour. Since that tour had to be postponed...

But sometimes that's actually funnier. I remember "made for TV" versions of Pulp Fiction, and it was actually somehow better with the bleeps.

Or better yet, when they got someone to dub over words with something stupid and ridiculous.

It's weird how people (and not just trolls) say how Brian and Roger are writing the Paul Rodgers era out of their history.
It's mentioned in this documentary, and Brian had a chapter about it in his Queen in 3D book.
But apart from legacy projects, there's just not much reason to.

I've never fully understood that, why would they bleep out stuff in a violent film like pulp fiction? I assume unlike the UK there is no watershed time where movies and TV shows stop being be family friendly and it's up to the TV company to censor stuff they deem unsuitable throughout the day, rather than save them for post 9pm? But that leads to the question of, why not just air it later?

Not to mention how inherently ridiculous it is to censor language for its own sake, rather than the images themselves. To this day we can still show killing and torture on TV, but people making love is somehow a faux pas. George Carlin was making the point about language 50 years ago, how the words are just neutral and that it's the intent and context that can make it good or bad. We still haven't figured it out.
