Not sure if it's been on before, or whether it's anything new, but might be worth watching.

Ch5, that will mean some old woman claiming to be freddies girlfriend in college and paul gambuccini saying "he threw his head back and said darling, in doing everything with everyone". That statement is incomplete without Gambaccini mentioning that it gave him a "sinking feeling". |

Ch5 tend to make these kinda shows knowing the fan base will watch and theyâll get decent ratings.

These things always have contributions from people I feel never are featured enough, i.e Ratty, or hardly at all; the driver / bodyguard.
The latter must have heaps of great stories.
Mike Moran and Phoebe are always good, too!
While not groundbreaking, it was a different and interesting approach with the psychiatrist commenting on stuff along they way.
Btw; why does so many people seem to have a problem with Lesley ann Jones? She comes across as knowledgeable and very decent imo!
Another thing; the âactress/friendâ Cleo RocosâŠ.whatâs her connection to Freddie?

Cleo Rocos is the source of the urban myth that Freddie took princess Di to a gay bar in disguise, which is denied by Peter Freestone. She also said in another doc 'Don't stop me now' that Freddie told her Slightly Mad was about the kind of AIDS he got. So I seriously doubt her credibility.

Well, I've just seen this and thought it was a waste of time. Some old clips of Freddie as a child and growing into an adult, interspersed with benign 'psychology' from some professor of the bleeding obvious. Nothing new at all, and how many times did they need to show the same bloody photo of Freddie as a kid with the teeth in the space of the first half an hour? I say nothing new - to be fair I don't remember seeing the images of him at about 17 before, but I'm pretty sure they were pulled from previously available footage. If you've not seen this, and are already aware of Freddie's background, I would suggest spending 90 minutes of your life doing something more worthwhile. |
