I have only recently found out about the existence of "premium edition" movie sets, usually with steelbooks and fancy boxes/packaging, maybe lenticular and such. Upon looking, I then discovered that a company called WeET Collection put out one such premium edition of the Bohemian Rhapsody film which looks very nice. The thing is, most of these "premium editions" seem to come from countries such as China (though WeET Collection is apparently from Korea). I have heard that, in some places/countries, the film was censored or cut (such as the scene where Freddie confesses to Mary about his sexuality). IDK if anyone here has the WeET Collection version of Bo Rhap, but if so, does anyone happen to know if THAT version of the film is cut/censored (or if the general Korean version was censored)? While I'm at it, does the WeET version include ALL of the special features included in the general U.S. 4K/Blu Ray version, again if anyone happens to know?

If you already have a copy of the film, then the content is irrelevant, isn't it?
..and if you don't, why are you prioritising the box over the content???

Nice packaging is something that collectors like, especially for something that means a lot to me, like Queen does... I mean I am just asking some questions, why the judgement?  |

I think PG was just making the point that if you already have the uncensored version, but also like the version with the special packaging, then it doesn't really matter if the film is the censored version if you're just buying it for the packaging. That, of course, is entirely your own choice.
I don't tend to buy Steelbook DVDs and that kind of thing, but I've been known to replace books I've read if they're re-issued with different covers. Each to their own. 😉🙂

I guess I'm mainly trying to see if I would be OK to sell off the version I already have in order to help offset the cost of the premium version, but obviously I don't want to do that if the WeET version is censored/cut. Sorry again, I'm going through some stuff and I guess was just feeling a tad bit more sensitive than usual today, that's all, no worries

Where would you purchase the WeET edition? Are there no product details, such as the running time? That might give you a clue as to whether it's the censored or uncensored version.
