I am not terribly fond of 80s Rush, although I do have an 80s "greatest hits" CD (Chronicles 2?). In my opinion the 80s albums are too laden with synths with not enough electric or acoustic guitar. My impression of 80s albums is that there are only a few good songs per album, and the songs are too short and formulaic
I have Grace Under Pressure on vinyl, and I have not listened to vinyl in probably 20 years. I am sure I have not listened to Grace in at least 30 years. My brother has Signals and I have not heard it in almost 40 years. I do remember a song on signals with an electric violin that I really liked.

Rush are quite divisive, and many people like some eras better than others. Personally I think Power Windows is a rare example of their albums where I like every track. There are some great melodic hooks in the songs, that, to my mind, stand the test of time today. I think the track you're referring to on Signals is Losing It. Got to admit, that wasn't one of my favourites on the album but I liked the live version they did on their final tour.

After having Rush's 'Live in Rio' for years, I have acquired myself the classic Rush albums on CD. All 40th Anniversary editions because of the addition of live material.
2112 A Farewell to Kings Hemispheres Permanent Waves Moving Pictures
However, I still cannot decade which on I like best, let alone rank them. I have to give them a more thorough listen I think.
What I do know is that I like them more than enough to go down the rabbit hole and explore their other albums as well!
