Content embedding: making the board more interesting

Hello everyone!
This is a friendly reminder and/or introduction to the board's content embedding features. Either for news, shares and older stuff, we have the chance to make nice posts with many different kinds of content other than text. It can be rather frustrating when someone talks about exciting news but they only write about it and they force you to look for it somewhere on the Internet. How about making it available for everyone to see? Check out how!
- Whenever we create a new thread or post a reply, please find the advanced features (easier on desktop, but possible on mobile too if you're into it) by hitting the "Reply" button:
- Among plenty of traditional formatting, linking and quoting features, we can add whichever content you wish and put it directly into your post for everyone to see and enjoy without further clicking, searching or browsing.
- Polls are a unique feature for new threads. They're perfect for all these ranking-like posts, speculation and times when you want to find out about people's opinions.
- Possibly the most interesting features are the picture embed (photo frame icon), video embed (clapperboard icon) and social embed (last icon to the right) ones. You will get examples and help links when you click on them.

- If you feel unsure as to how things will look like before you post, please post them on the BB (bulleting board) code tab and then use the "Preview" tab. Some things may not work the way you intend before you post them though; if that's the case, you can always edit your posts afterwards (I do most times!) and correct them as you see fit, so don't be afraid to make a mistake.

IMGUR is rather easy to use (I did in this very post!). You can drag and drop several pics at once and promptly get embed links. Find the BBCode links and just copy & paste them here for immediate success!
Please feel free to update your own threads and posts, and practise your modern forum-ing skills in this very thread if you are so inclined. If you don't know where to start, simply provide a link or even a detailed description of the content you found online and we'll figure it out together. Be comfortable to ask if you need help, we just want this place to get up to date and become even cooler!
