Hello everyone.
I'm starting this thread as I had a question for all of you: Would you like to see some old projects I worked on get released?
If you want to see some of them, here's some that come to mind:
- A matrix test of Mannheim 86's AOBTD (AUD + Soundboard) - An "album" containing a compilation of instrumental extractions of the Wembley Stadium gigs from 1986 (Made using UVR V5)
For now that's all that comes to mind. I'll probably update this post as I look at my folders. Also if you wanted to see some of these released, where in this forum should I post them? I'm just asking, since I'm kind of new to this kind of stuff.
Anyways, feel free to ask which of these you would like to see, and for those busy,

I'd like to hear that Mannheim matrix. Just remember that only Another One Bites The Dust was done and that it is the first and only matrix I have made for a concert so far. This was also done to test my capabilities of syncing the two sources. For now, I'd wait a few hours to see if there's enough interest for the release of these old projects. |

could you detail your source material please. if you've used officially-released material to create these "instrumentals" then unfortunately, they cannot be shared here. |

could you detail your source material please. if you've used officially-released material to create these "instrumentals" then unfortunately, they cannot be shared here. Sadly, I've used the official release of 1st Wembley for some songs, these ones being In The Lap Of The Gods, Who Wants To Live Forever, Radio Ga Ga, We Will Rock You & Friends Will Be Friends. The rest is mostly taken from a source merge of 2nd Wembley which uses the best three unofficial sources, with the exception of God Save The Queen, which uses a matrix I did using the studio take and 2nd Wembley's radio broadcast, and One Vision which uses a merge of three sources: the first one being Budapest's 16 camera source, the second one being 2nd Leiden's broadcast copy (the best available copy of the broadcast to be precise), and finally the 2nd Wembley source merge. So yeah, sadly a fraction of the source material used is officially released material. But maybe we could find a solution to this perhaps? |

What I meant is that I could put it on YouTube (as separate videos, for each song, to be bearable) or perhaps, if you don't think that's possible, I could do something like what cmi does for his expanded collection, and that is, sending the download link via email for those interested.
P.S.: Of course, for solution one, I wouldn't share any link to watch the videos in question, if sharing Youtube URLs was a problem for this type of content.

because you know, we know and the forum knows that the source is in fact official material, i can't see what motivation you would have for discussing YT uploads of officially-sourced material here.
1. you can't post the links, and
2. continued discussion of potential sharing of officially-sourced material will get you a ban.
it's probably best you do what you do - externally of this forum and don't discuss it here. i'm pretty confident that you wouldn't be asking to do this at QOL or similar would you?
please don't make reference to other forums members' activity - you have no idea what private discussions have taken place between us and other members.

Okay, I'm sorry for doing such a silly and stupid thing. I kind of did this without thinking it would be this problematic, so here's a quick and easy solution I propose if possible: Delete this thread and let's treat this like something that didn't happen. i don't think deleting the thread helps. it serves better purpose to leave it in a "locked" state so others can see that things are being dealt with with consistency.
