I use 'Freemake Video Converter' or '4K Video Downloader' (I have a paid subscription to the second of these programs) - but usually I'm using a desktop, not smartphone. As far as I can understand, both programs allow you to download entire playlists in the best possible quality, not just single videos. Although the download results still need to be checked. Also this program: y2mate.mx/en40 - can sometimes help. It does not require installation on a computer (you will use it online), but it's not always perfect, and the parameters of the downloading video must be set manually. In any case, choosing from these three programs will help you find the best solution, I think. |

I use 4K Video Downloader. I think it's the best out there. It doesn't reencode, it downloads the media files straight from the YouTube servers, meaning you aren't losing any quality. It also gives you the different codecs YouTube uses to choose from (H264-AAC / VP9-Opus), and has option to download in MP3 if preferred (reencoding it from either AAC or Opus). It's very easy to use, and has a nice GUI. www.4kdownload.com/products/videodownloaderThere is an Android version with the same functionality, but it is relatively new and the user interface still lacks a little. And if you need even more customisation options and you are good with command line programmes, I recommend YouTube-DL. But you need ffmpeg to get the best out of it |
