I've never been to the Queen Fan Club Convention before but may have an opportunity to go - does anyone have any insights what is there to look forward to?  www.arenatravel.com/holiday/35th-official-queen-fan-clubThis is the website I found aside from the official FB page and there hasn't been much information other than it being £190 for 4 days (plus £30 because I'm not a fanclub member). If anyone has any experiences to share that would be great, thank you! |

Hi, I’ve been to about 30 of them over the years, it’s worth joining the fan club to save a few pounds on the booking. If you go there are a few bands on from straight tribute bands to bands that will not be look a likes but play deep cuts. There’s normally some guest speakers, over the years I have seen Mike Moran, Mack, Peter freestone, Jamie Moses. There’s are quizzes, discos, videos, raffles. Greg Brooks normally shows up with some rare audio and information. Plus a market where members sell queen items. If you like queen you’ll love it. If you are lucky, unseen The Miracle video footage will be shown to promote the box set, and that footage will be available in the box set in a few months ...
But then again we are talking about QPL ... given their propensity to tease items that never again see the light of day ...
