Hi everybody! Below is an article, titled Listen In As Queen's Brian May Talks About The Making Of Flash Gordon!, published in a special edition of the American music magazine RockLine! in early 1981. It's an interview with Brian May, held by journalist Hedy End, about the making of the soundtrack for the film Flash Gordon: Brian talks about the recording of the music and the techniques the band used to synchronize the score to film scenes. Have a good reading.

Thanks for posting this. I recall reading the interview in the magazine when it came out. Quite informative.

Wonderful stuff, thanks! Two questions: 1) does the interview continue? It seems to end in an unusual spot, and 2) they note that when Freddie was asked about picking the themes to write, Freddie said he did it because "he gets all the black scenes". This must mean he talked to the source before Brian did; I wonder if that interview is floating around the ether somewhere...

I also noticed that the interview ends abruptly, but I have unfortunately not been able to find a continuation...
