Are the outtakes/demos of the album tracks radically different to what we already know and love (or loathe in some cases)?

Are the outtakes/demos of the album tracks radically different to what we already know and love (or loathe in some cases)? I think I spoiled a lot already, and I do my best at hiding them under a spoiler tag, because I respect that a lot of people want to be surprised when they receive the box. But in the meantime I've seen my information appearing on other sites/places and it's not hidden there. So regard the next bit more as a tease and my last spoiler: Yes, differences. The demo's have other bits and pieces here and there. As for the album tracks, to my knowledge, they were not leaked before (Except Invisible Man is on the 2011 Deluxe Edition and I think that My Baby Loves Me was leaked before, not sure if this is the same), so do expect: other lyrics here and there, different bits and pieces, false starts (had me laughing out loud), parts of songs being in a completely other spot as where they eventually got (that was a sudden mindfuck  ) All that sort of things, you are in for a treat. But again, that is purely my opinion. |

Bjorn, one more question. The sound quality of "Falling Out" and "Dog With A Bone". Is it better sounding than the leaks? "Dog" always sounded pretty rough- like a bootleg being it was taken from a fan club message. I am no sound expert, but on sound quality: They sound clearer to me, defenitely studio quality, less muffled as the leaked demo's I've heard before. And way much better then all the stuff on Youtube Thank god! |

I think they realised their mistake. Now it's on pre-order with expectation of november 18th. Hopefully all orders that were shipped yesterday will remain on their way. Mine was shipped today, they said.... We'll see tomorrow :-) Indeed received today... I guess I'm lucky this time. |

Just finished listening to the Miracle Sessions disc and I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised.
It's really fun and refreshing to hear those different versions of songs we mostly know by now.
Some are only slightly different, but some really have interesting bits and bring new life to my experience when listening to them.

Wait. So the BIG question now is "Is there a Freddie vocal of Why Don't We Try Again"? Given that Brian didn't release it in 92, but waited until 98, I'm not convinced it was far enough forward for ANYONE to sing it... And if he had, it would have been nailed on for MiH, instead of having Dave Richards magic YDFM out of almost nothing. |

I'm really curious to hear Breakthru of all the songs as it's one I really like.
I wonder whether the alternative versions will make me think positively of the songs I dislike (Party, Khashoggi's Ship, Rain Must Fall and My Baby Does Me).
Also, John's Ending on The Miracle - what is that?

oh my.... on my copy from both Blu-ray AND DVD the sound and the visuals on I Want It All are not in line (Video is behind on the sound)
Rest of the video's are also slightly off, but not as bad as IWIA. (On GVH2 DVD sound and visuals are spot on). I don't have this problem on any other Blu-ray or DVD.
Anybody else?

I love the demo of Breakthru! It’s how I imagine they may have attempted it live - especially the ending. Really shows off what a great “engine” Brian, Roger and John were.

I knew it! Somehow I always suspected that Why Don’t We Try Again had to be a Queen song. One of the few Bri or Roger solo tracks that have made me wonder “what if Freddie sang on this” from day one. Thanks for the info Bjorn! Hola Marc! Tanto tiempo! Usually when we say that a solo track had it origins in Queen sessions, normally those tracks weren't sung by Freddie at all, except for a couple examples (Too much love will kill you, even tho that track wasn't meant to be a solo track, it just happened to have legal problems with the other authors and Queen Prod Ltd. and got withdrawn from the album) That applies for Man on Fire from The Works sessions, and the rumoured Queen demos of Freedom Train (Happiness? 1994) and Driven by you, just to quote a couple of songs. |
