Btw, for other Dutch people here, you can get the regular box set (not the exclusive press kit pack) here for less than from queenonlinestore, especially with shipping (€166.94 vs €187.99 in total)

Ah just noticed the description ("omschrijving") actually confirms what I said earlier about TMLWKY being a new version: "DISC 8 (LP): 180-gram 1LP vinyl featuring the 2011 Bob Ludwig master plus additional track “Too Much Love Will Kill You”, in a different version to the one that came out on ‘Made In Heaven’, creating the Original Long Lost Cut"
As I know full track list already on iTunes. Does anyone can check and provide duration for each track of the whole set? Thanks in advance.
What I know of:
I Want It All (original take) 6:15 When Love Breaks Up 1.43 You Know You Belong to Me 1.53 I Guess We're Falling Out 3.42 Dog With A Bone 3.48 Water 1.51
I was thinkin the same about Water and YKYBTM. I guess now it's time to begin speculating...
Affairs and Gran Dame are two songs/demoes we know to exist from The Miracle sessions. And neither one is included here...So, could it be that they evolved into Water and YKYBTM??
Unless, just possibly, they were from the later 1989 sessions that started "Innuendo"?
Yup, David Richards played those two and an early take of Innuendo at an Italian (I think) convention, and seemed to say they were from the same November/December 1989 sessions.
Dog With A Bone looks like it's been edited down. IGWFO is longer than the demo we have, while When Love Breaks Up is half-a-minue longer than the version we have (assuming it's the same piece as 'A New Life Is Born').

Gah I see nothing on the US iTunes store or Apple Music, though the header an the latter shows video clips from The Miracle promos, so obviously something is coming.
Interesting about a near-four minute I Guess We’re Falling Out.

Comparing to what we have real quick: I Want It All is much longer, probably also has studio banter around it but still (4:42 for the finished song vs 6:15 for the original take) When Love Breaks Up, assuming it is equivalent to A New Life Is Born, is also a bit longer, probably just some added studio banter (1:23 for the demo we have vs 1:43) You Know You Belong To Me obviously has nothing to compare to I Guess We're Falling Out is also much longer, it seems what they've got there amounts to a full song, even with studio banter (2:32 for the demo we have vs 3:42) Dog With A Bone is somewhat shorter than what we have available, even without the fan club message, so it's interesting to see what'll remain (7:01 for the entire thing with the fan club message vs 3:48) Water obviously can't be compared either

This doesn't look too promising to be honest. Only the video for I Want It All seems to actually be a proper HD video, while the Breakthru, Scandal, and The Invisible Man videos all look AI upscaled.
No idea if this works but worth a try:
Otherwise you can find the videos in the banner here

I expect "Dog With A Bone" to be polished somewhat, but certainly properly edited so that running time makes sense. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a mix of several takes either, to make it feel like a proper song instead of a fun jam.

It's definitely going to be edited, iTunes gives a running length of 3:48.
two things: again, the demos by Brian only takes one minute or one and a half, just like the demos on Another World... what happen Brian? you don't like to work too much? and another thing, the fact than the Bluray will only have IWIT on full HD is maybe becouse it was directed by Mallet and not DoRo? I mean, I think that I read here than Rudi didn't want to work with Queen Productions again, so probably he didn't send the material for the videos that he directed, and maybe that's the reason why there's no new extra material on the DVD/Bluray also

I kinda expected a TMLWKY demo and perhaps some more additional versions (b-side demos and whatnot), but we can't complain too much. And I thought "Scandal - extended version" was made by Hollywood Records, but I guess they just took the already existing, official and unreleased mix and put it on CD.
Also, nice to know that there will be an additional track on the FIA single (FIA - karaoke version).
My first thought for Water was that it might be an early demo for Chinese Torture or somehow related to it (since the torture method it references is often called "Chinese water torture"), but it seems to be credited to Queen instead of just Brian while Belong to Me is Brian's, so I dunno...

I was hoping All God's People would be on there, but I can see why it's been left off.

What are your thoughts on the demos on the Freddie Mercury box set then, where most of them are under two minutes? That's just how artists work: sometimes they get a full demo, sometimes they get fragments. Chances are if the demos advanced then the arrangement would be fleshed out, but the band rarely came to the studios with complete, fully fleshed out, finished demos.
Artists must pass on, but sometimes a mix of passion, good fortune, diligence, expertise, and meticulous labour can capture and restore some of the beauty they left behind.

The track listing to disc 2 looks marvellous. Pretty sure Breakthru with real drums and bass will be the standout cut - that's the one I'm looking forward to the most.
But the price is indeed steep, as $250 CAD is a lot of bread for one disc of unheard music and a book.
Good on them for doing another great box set - the best QPL product since the NOTW box. I can only hope the rest of the '70s albums get a similar treatment before we're all pushing up the daisies.

Agreed. I spent all morning deciding to buy it or not at ~$250 CAD.
In the end, I decided to go ahead because I really enjoyed the NOTW box. But then I went overboard and picked up the Deluxe Box with the Press Kit and 7" single with the art cards... sigh... I'll never learn.

"You Know You Belong To Me" has a registered copyright to Brian May alone, so I think we can bet on this being one of his featured vocal tracks.
Is this an assumption or does it say anywhere that Brian sings in these?
Then again, I'd expect a track of his singing himself in every album (Innuendo had "Lost Opportunity", so to speak).
It is stated that two of the unreleased songs are featuring Brian on vocals, the 4 we all know is Freedie on vocals. I am not so keen on Brian vocals, especially on an overpriced boxset.
Some more new songs, but who plays real bass on breakthru? did john do a take back in the day?
He sure did. There's real bass on the studio version, in the bridge before the guitar solo. So this will just be a more complete version.

Same. I've been waiting 33 years for this! 😁
Remember to deliver with the speed of light A little bit of love and joy
Couldn't this just mean no "That time will come..." section? The jam that precedes it (and is partly overlaid on it) is based on a bass riff, so perhaps he was the originator of the idea and hence "John's" ending.
