I'm hoping it will be uploaded to a Torrent site sooner rather than later *hint hint* Let’s make that the one and only mention of a torrent for this particular product, please.

I knew it! Somehow I always suspected that Why Don’t We Try Again had to be a Queen song. One of the few Bri or Roger solo tracks that have made me wonder “what if Freddie sang on this” from day one. Thanks for the info Bjorn! Hola Marc! Tanto tiempo! Usually when we say that a solo track had it origins in Queen sessions, normally those tracks weren't sung by Freddie at all, except for a couple examples (Too much love will kill you, even tho that track wasn't meant to be a solo track, it just happened to have legal problems with the other authors and Queen Prod Ltd. and got withdrawn from the album) That applies for Man on Fire from The Works sessions, and the rumoured Queen demos of Freedom Train (Happiness? 1994) and Driven by you, just to quote a couple of songs. Just asking - how do you know there is no take of "Man On Fire" with Freddie on vocals? As far as I'm aware, nothing is known about this track's supposed origins during the sessions for The Works aside from the fact that it was proposed by Roger, and *possibly* demoed. I'd love to be wrong, and would be very interested if you know more than the above.

Given that it was on an early track listing, I would have thought it had gotten far enough to have gotten a Freddie vocal if it wasn't always destined to be sung by Roger...

I was going to order it, but I'm asking myself will I be able to read the DVD/Blu Ray on a player here in Canada... It's probably region free.

Regarding the dvd/bluray, we know that I Want It All was rescanned from film, but how do the other videos look? Are they badly upscaled?

Yep. If I know all previous Video albums were "free". It doesn't make sense to make it "exclusive" for some parts of the world. Especially when it's limited, collectors edition.
Maybe for... Japan? 😄

Ale!!!! Qué alegría saber de vos!! Espero que todo bien!! Yeah, in my previous post I was not implying that a vocal take from Freddie for Why Don’t We Try Again might exist (but of course I wish there’s one). I just meant that I’ve always felt that this song has a Queen/Innuend-ish feel and made me imagine Freddie singing on it. Another one that makes me feel the same way is China Belle 🤷🏼♂️ Un abrazo fuerte!!!

If DVD compatibility is a concern, consider purchasing one of these:

Can't be bothered to do a quote reply, but a well known "mega-fan" has always said a Freddie version of "Man On Fire" exists, so until it's proven otherwise, I'm going to take his word for it.

Something definitely exists, but maybe it's just Roger on vocals.

I Guess We’re Falling Out So why they didn't finish it like "Face it Alone"? Another lost opportunity.

I Guess We’re Falling Out So why they didn't finish it like "Face it Alone"? Another lost opportunity. Yep. It has a good refrain. They could have traded vocals and produced a new Queen song. Then again the Freddie vocals I've heard are not up to his standards. I'm just going by the leaked version.

I decided to go with the 2 CD version from Queen On-Line at $16.99. Even with postage to the US, I save $7 versus buying "locally" from Amazon.com at $29.99. The only downside for me is I won't receive it until December (and hopefully before 2024). Since buying the Queen Rainbow and the Roger Taylor The Lot box sets eight years or so ago for reasonable prices, I have become miserly and unwilling to spend "big money" on the later fluff filled box sets. My sentimentality for Queen faded long ago. Same thing for me. Subsequent boxes to Rainbow are to expensive and I'm not willing to pay the amount of money QPL want to leech from me. Maybe with an Innuendo box it will be different.

I feel this. I considered doing the 2 CD version as well...but I still have a bit of the bug. I like the full instrumentals..and the book looks lovely. I may change my mind but alas I feel I'm still a bit of a sucker...

I may change my mind but alas I feel I'm still a bit of a sucker... The Miracle box is not as bad of a rip off as the News box. If one excludes the redundant disks, the cost of $30 per disk for the Miracle box is not as exhorbitent as the News box at $50 per disk.**
If the 2 CD version of the Miracle had not been available, I probably would have purchased the full box set by rationalizing that I would only have been slightly "fleeced".
** I consider the original CD album, the LP album and either the Blu-Ray or DVD as redundant for the Miracle box, while I consider the original CD album and the LP album as redundant for the News box.

I'm not really thinking of the LP as redundant because of the slight difference - i.e with TMLWKY on the tracklist as well as it being a gatefold sleeve for the first time. That doesn't mean I'm easy pleased, though - while it's not redundant, it's still just the Ludwig master, and TMLWKY is just the one from MIH.
The Blu ray would have been a great addition if all the videos were remastered and Face It Alone and WIAWI were included, as well as the silhouette version of TIM.
FIA shouldn't be on the sessions disc as it'd the finished version. It should be the demo version!
Also, the 3" CD of samplers shouldn't be an excusive.
Other than that...happy LOL.

Uh, are you positively sure that the LP is in fact using the Bob Ludwig remasters? Because, this is what was mentioned in the press release otherwise: “The Miracle as never heard before. Sourced from a master tape from March 1989, the Long Lost Cut reinstates ‘Too Much Love Will Kill You’ as it was originally intended, in the exact position on Side One allotted in 1989, nestled between ‘I Want It All’ and ‘The Invisible Man’. The updated LP sleeve presents the album with a gatefold cover for the first time in its history.” If any of the lucky buggers who got the box set can take a close up photo of the LP sleeve credits to clarify this, that would be appreciated.

Same here. QPL´s box set are very expensive for the amount of (new) things that they offer.

On a positive note, at least we *do* get the 2cd option, like with Rainbow and On Air. Now, with Rainbow I think the box set was totally worth it, with On Air I couldn't be less interested in the extra discs, and IMHO The Miracle falls squarely in the middle. I'm very happy with the contents of the 2cd. Too bad there was no 2cd alternative with NOTW...

I added the boxset to Discogs, including all credits... so see for yourself: www.discogs.com/release/24937738-Queen-The-Miracle(Spoiler: The LP is not the Ludwig master according to the sleeve)
