A new teaser from Peter Freestone appeared on his Instagram page just 30 minutes ago. "Once upon a time there was a boy who wanted to grow up to be a doctor, That aim was never achieved, but the life he has led has been more than most people can even dream of!" It claims on the back cover that there will be unseen photographs and untold stories. Thoughts?

When it comes to Peter – after at least two books, countless blog entries, countless video interviews and fan club appearances – can there really be any “untold stories” left? Especially enough to fill a new book?
(I’ve been in process on re-reading his first two books and I have to say that, by the second, he had really run out of any worthwhile stories and it just felt like a hodgepodge of semi related things that he pulled together just to justify calling it a separate book.j

It seems to be Peter's own biography.

It seems to be Peter's own biography. Another way of describing that could be "all the stories that don't have Freddie in them at all"

I didn’t realize Peter did a second book, I figured the first one did a good enough job that further stories weren’t needed. Is there anything worth reading in the second one? I remember only moderately enjoyed the first one.

I just love the fact that he had to use a Photoshopped version of himself with Freddie as the cover.

I just love the fact that he had to use a Photoshopped version of himself with Freddie as the cover. Isn't the cover a drawing by the artist Nenu and not something that has been photoshopped? I'm not really interested in this book because I can't imagine he has one single thing left to say that he hasn't said for years now. I did get the feeling that it was possibly an autobiography but again, what can he possibly say that we haven't heard before? The only thing that might draw me in is never seen photos, but I'll wait to hear from others who do buy the book to judge how new they are. I used to have a lot more respect for Freestone, but that respect has been eroded as I've seen him milk his period with Freddie for too long now.

I remember only moderately enjoyed the first one. In all honesty, no, it’s not really worth it unless you find it on a very deep discount. It really feels like a lot of filler - a grab bag of stories that didn’t make the cut for the first book, coupled with various stuff about Peter‘s own life which, with no offense to Peter, just really isn’t all that interesting and so makes me not very inclined to read an all new biography that is completely devoted to his life.
