Hello everybody.
Today I share with you an article from the British music magazine Record Mirror dated November 9th, 1974: it's called The Heavyweight Queen, it was written by Martin Thorpe and it reviews the band's concert at Manchester's Free Trade Hall on October 30th, 1974, the first date of the UK tour in support of new album 'Sheer Heart Attack'.
It's a very positive review of the Queen show which, in addition to praising Freddie's skills on stage, also provides some information on the new songs played that night; apart from 'Flick Of The Wrist' (released as a B side of 'Killer Queen ' in October), Thorpe points out 'Stone Cold Crazy' and 'In The Lap Of The Gods', still unreleased to the Manchester crowd - 'Stone Cold Crazy' was actually played on the BBC Radio's show Sound Of The Seventies on November 4th, 1974. Enjoy your reading!
