Hello everybody.
Today I propose another review of a Queen concert: this time we are in Montreal, Canada on July 21st 1982, the first date of the band's last North American tour. The review written by music critic John Griffin is titled Queen's Mercury can't cut the funk and was published in The Montreal Gazette on Friday July 23rd, 1982.
Griffin obviously talks about the new album 'Hot Space' (and in particular the song 'Staying Power') and Queen's new musical direction at that time, arguing however that the band gives its best when performing the old material.
