Hi everyone.
Today I post to you a series of short articles published in the British music magazine Record Mirror on Saturday December 13th, 1975. The first is titled QUEEN EXPLODE and is a review of Queen's concert at Hammersmith Odeon in London on Tuesday December 2nd, 1975, written by journalist Ray Fox-Cumming. It is an absolutely positive review of the concert; the journalist compares the Hammersmith performance to the concerts the band gave in Bristol a few weeks earlier, calling it much more advanced than the already extraordinary concerts at Colston Hall.
A few pages later in the magazine there is also a short article entitled RIGHT ROYAL DO; the after show party that Queen held at the Hammersmith Odeon on December 2nd, 1975 is presented in the company of various guest stars such as John Reid, Kevin Ayers, Errol Brown from Hot Chocolate, Stuart Tosh, Alan Merrill, DJ Kenny Everett, producer Robin Nash and singer Amanda Lear.
The second is entitled XMAS EVE OGWT QUEEN SPECIAL: it is essentially the announcement of the Christmas concert that Queen would have held at the Hammersmith Odeon in London on December 24th, 1975.
