I know there will be some differences between territories, but I thought it might be fun to chat about what we've been watching on TV and perhaps share some recommendations?
Recently I've been hooked on both versions of The Traitors (UK and US), and by the same makers, Rise and Fall on Channel 4 (UK). These are shows where a group of 'ordinary' people are pitted against each other, with a view to winning a prize pot at the end.
In Rise and Fall, the group was split into Rulers and Grafters. The Rulers lived in a luxurious penthouse at the top of a London building, and the Grafters lived in the basement, with meagre facilities and very basic food. The Grafters, at the bidding of the Rulers, had to perform tasks to build up the prize fund, which only one of the Rulers could win at the end of the game. But, Rulers could fall, and Grafters could rise, so there was lots of backstabbing, scheming, and unscrupulous behaviour when it came to voting each other out of the game, or voting for who would rise or fall.
I also like police dramas, and currently Blue Lights (BBC1) and Redemption (ITV1) are on my watch list.
What are your current (and past) favourite TV programmes?

Recently finished watching Tulsa King with Sylvester Stallone and gotta say it’s one of the best things I’ve watched in years. Currently watching Ted Lasso and have a couple of episodes of A Town Called Malice left to watch to finish that.

Tulsa King looks like my kind of thing as well. I think I might regret starting this thread! 😄

Gangs of London - I thoroughly enjoyed the first series, but the second one not quite so much. Maybe part of it was the shock value of the first series, not having seen quite that much gore and violence on TV for some time!

I tried to watch that a couple of times, as people said it was good, but just couldn't get into it. Same with Breaking Bad. Rabbit Hole is on my current watch list. Oh, and the last episode of the first series of Inside No.9 (I think it was called The Harrowing), was possibly one of the most disturbing things I'd seen on telly for many years, and stayed with me for many nights after I'd watched it!

I loved Homeland, but disliked their killing off of the one guy I was rooting for...Peter Quinn Inside No9 - for anyone who hasn't watched it, folks don;t know what they're missing. Each episode tends to be a different theme and it's a genre-spanning work of genius, my own favourites: 12 Days of Christine Bernie Clifton's Dressing Room Harrowing Wuthering Heist Last Night of the Proms Wise Owl but you know what you're getting with Shearsmith and Pemberton when you kick off with an brilliant pilot: Sardines
