Hi everyone.
This article below is taken from a Swedish music magazine from the first half of 1974: entitled QUEEN Englands nya super-stars (translated as QUEEN England's new superstars), it presents the band as the new revelation of the year and, thanks to the success of 'Seven Seas Of Rhye' and the album 'Queen II', compares them to the same level as Deep Purple, Status Quo and Nazareth (English bands already established for some years). It is also communicated that the third album of the band (still not recorded) could in the future be made at Rosenberg Studio in Copenhagen; as we well know, 'Sheer Heart Attack' was recorded at Trident Studios, Wessex Studios, Air Studios and Rockfield Studios.
Below is the original article in Swedish and the English translation. Enjoy the reading!

QUEEN England's new superstars
In early 1974, concert promoters from almost every European country were invited to London, all expenses paid, to hear the new group Queen, who were presented as 1974's biggest name. Queen would meet the concert promoters face to face at a concert, where they were opening act for Mott The Hoople, and they didn't make much of an impression. The facility fumbled, as it often does at crucial moments. and Queen thought they could compensate for a bad facility by playing extra loud.
The result was then and most of the concert promoters went home assuming that it was all an unusually cheap trick, which might have gone home five years ago with the Monkees, but that time is gone. Those who boldly dared to sign a contract with the group could be all the happier. Now it has been shown that Queen exceeded the wildest expectations. With the single "Seven Seas Of Rhye" and the LP "Queen II", within a month they have climbed up to the Deep Purple/Status Quo/Nazareth class.

The Queen records are musical masterpieces from Gasolin producer Thomas Baker, and by the way, it is possible that Queen will record their next and third LPs in the Rosenberg studio in Copenhagen.
Their name is ambiguous. It can mean gay, and Queen are often well teased at their performances, but sex is not the emphasis. They play hard rock and AB Black Sabbath has suddenly faced stiff competition.

- "From the very first day we stood in a recording studio, we knew we were going to be big one day", says Freddie Mercury, and now his optimism has proven to be true.
