Hello, Here's a scan of review of the 'A Night At The Opera' album ( Circus magazine, May 13, 1976) written by journalist Lance Loud. A scan of the first page of this issue of Circus is also attached. Additionally – results of the reader's poll, published in this issue of Circus. 'A Night At The Opera' at the second place. Have a good reading

Have a good reading Jesus, some of these music journalists were writing more about their personal tastes than the music they were listening to. If only they could foresee the homogenization that popular music would become, maybe would've appreciated that there were artists who were trying to be innovative in 1975 - plenty of whom succeeded, like Queen. I'd ask to see the review of Physical Graffiti from that same issue of Circus, but maybe I don't want to see it, especially if it's by the same writer.

^^ I completely agree with your 'sentiments' re. that article, RW. Although ANATO is my 2nd least-favourite 70's Era Queen album (only superior to Jazz in my view), I certainly couldn't see myself ever giving such a negative critique of it.
