Hi everyone.
Today I would like to enrich the 'Newspapers & Magazines' section with another very interesting newspaper article in my opinion, this time taken from the American music magazine Musician and Recording World of May 1984. Entitled Four Men Who Would Be Queen, the article in question was written by journalist Paul Gallotta: it is an interview with Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon about the recent release of the album 'The Works'. However, there is not only talk of the new album and the songs that make it up, but also of the 'Hot Space' album and tour, the addition of a keyboard player during live shows, Freddie Mercury's projects with Michael Jackson and Giorgio Moroder (at the time still unreleased - the ones with Jackson for sure!) and some equipment used by May, Taylor and Deacon. Brian May's 'Star Fleet Project' LP, Roger Taylor's solo album 'Strange Frontier' (not yet released) and John Deacon's rap project with some Jamaican musicians (the song 'Picking Up Sounds' to be more clear) are also mentioned. Enjoy the reading!
