Hi everyone.
The article below is taken from the British magazine Beat Instrumental & International Recording Studio from February 1975: written by Tony Jasper, it's titled QUEEN: "Recording isn't easy" and talks about the recording of Queen's latest album 'Sheer Heart Attack'. Of the four band members, it's John Deacon who talks with Jasper about the making of the album and the latest happenings concerning the band; an interesting passage is the band's meeting with Paul McCartney - at the time of the publication of this article, Queen were engaged in America for the album's support tour, while McCartney was also in the US to record the album 'Venus And Mars' with his band Wings. Since the album was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London in November 1974 and at Sea-Saint Studios in New Orleans and Wally Heider Studios in Los Angeles between January and February 1975, it is not clear where the meeting between Queen and Paul took place (but probably in the States). Enjoy the reading!
