Hello, new here. I filmed this super 8 epic 40 years ago which you may or may have seen already. Its been on youtube for years. the version on there is the one i made just filming it off a sheet in my living room. www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSmDOPqsU0k anyway would like to get it properly transfered , but lack the 600 bucks it would take to do it. if there is anyone with a connection with a transfer place or a spare pile of money laying around, contact me. thanks. i have a facebook page for all my super 8 films called super 8 in 1980 if anyone is interested. |

I am in between jobs.. but a crowdfunding could be something.. Didnt buy me concert tickets for this summer  But still can miss some  Or maybe here can do it for free. Some are real vid wizzards. |

Welcome! I did some work on the current version. It's a great film and a wonderful piece of history. Definitely worth transferring it professionally to at least 2K ProRes. If somebody makes a crowdfunding, I will chip in. Pro8mm in California or FrameDiscreet in Toronto do a great job.

I've been in dialogue with the filmer. He got a new transfer done.
I asked for the lossless files, and I didn't hear back yet. But this is fabulous so far. Thanks super8 !

Would be great to get the raw transfer, if so, it would only be the second HD transfer of audience film, the first being New York '76. Thanks to the original filmer, it's beautiful!!
