As I recently read, it is presumed that during the American tour of April-May 1974, Queen decided to play the then unreleased song 'Mad The Swine' live on stage; it is alleged that the event occurred at the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis on April 20th, 1974.
Since the song was dropped from Queen's debut album tracklist in 1973 (and was released in 1991 after David Richards' remastering), why would the band play it live? But above all, where did this information come from, since there are no recordings of that evening? Do you have an idea?
It is not impossible that this happened though, as the unreleased track 'Hangman' (already played in the very first concerts of the band) was also played sporadically on stage until 1976.

The source is the Gary Taylor "Touring North America" book.
Gary Taylor's books aren't reliable all the time (or even a small fraction of the time) so take it with a grain of salt, sort of like the older ones from Greg Brooks.

FTFY Of course, just referring to the relative age of the books. They're cut from the same cloth.
