Hi everyone. I recently found this interesting article: titled Brilliant Queen hit by anti-race demo and published in the British newspaper The Sun on June 9th, 1986, it talks about the protests that took place on June 7th, 1986 at Råsundastadion in Stockholm. A group of anti-apartheid demonstrators gathered outside the stadium just before the start of the first concert of the 'Magic Tour' and openly protested against Queen playing in South Africa in October 1984; the journalist Nick Ferrari also refers to an interview with Brian May, in which the guitarist allegedly said "People who critices us are all faggots and can go jump in the lake" (very unusual for Brian to use such language, don't you think?). However, the inaugural concert of the tour is also presented, in a positive way. Below the scan. Enjoy the reading.
