Hi everyone.
Below is an article taken from the American music magazine Circus dated February 28th, 1977: entitled Part 1: The Queen Tapes. Stargazing Guitarist Brian May Turn the Telescope on Himself and Talks About What He Sees, it's an interview by the journalist Mick Houghton with Brian May; it is part of a series of interviews that the magazine held with the four members of the band and which were published in several issues.
In this interview, Brian May obviously talks about Queen and the albums released so far, but also about topics unrelated to the band such as his past as an astronomy student and his "virtually complete" PhD (which ended in 2007).
Below is the full article. Enjoy the reading!

I love this quote:
“John and Roger are so crucial to everything we do, they are not only a rhythm section. Nothing is farther from the truth. It's like John is the quiet one, all the press releases and so on always say that, and it's true, but in many areas he's the leader more and more these days. I visualize that the balance will change further internally as time goes by … adjust to individual changes.”
How prophetic, really. I couldn’t imagine Mick Jagger and Keith Richards saying that about Bill Wyman, or Lennon and McCartney about George Harrison. Whatever problems Brian and John may have had with each other, there’s an obvious, tremendous respect from Brian to John. (John’s also said some nice things about Brian but they’re harder to come by, simply because John didn’t give many interviews and hasn’t spoken publicly in over 20 years.)
