I know this topic has been covered on Queenzone, but a few days ago somebody asked Rudi Dolezal on his Instagram page if the supposed interview with Freddie at the Duck house in 1990 or 1991 exists or not and Rudi answer was "no comment". Rudi was posting and commenting on the Jukebox interview as Freddie's last interview (which it's not). In the same video at the end while commenting Rudi, while promoting his forthcoming book about Freddie, talks about the interview that never happened. Was he supposed to interview Freddie in 1990 when they shot the Innuendo EPK or before or after we'll never know. Maybe Freddie wanted to give another interview but was too weak to do it in the end and that's why Rudi "created" a last interview "you're the last person I'm talking to..." to lure people into believing that it was Freddie's pouring his heart out before dying...Food for thought, be we'll probably never know...

Saying "no comment" creates more interest for people to hang around your channel than saying "no".
Just standard marketing tactics.
You can bet your left nut there's no 1990 or 91 interview.

I thought exactly the same. If the answer is no he could have said so. When he choose not to there are two options. Either he has something, or it is marketing tactics as you say. I bet its the latter. Quite cheap if so. To be honest the interest around a Freddie interview is only among the hardcore Queen fans. The general public does not care about stuff like that. They are satisfied with the movie.

But again, it's not like he has to - he's done well for himself in the TV world:

Agree with all of this. From his way of communicating he seems to like some dramatics and flourishing stuff that we've seen before and make them sound like new exclusives to stir up interest. If he really didn't want to comment he could have just not replied lol.

This was the thing I was talking about. I'm glad that someone else acknowledged it.

Link to post: http://instagr.am/p/B_XVzRbjdId Actually this topic was a discussion at the "other forum" a few years back. And as the topic starter "over there" I get my beatings It´s founded on Rolling Stone Interview with David Richards. As a addition they`ve added statements from the Doro`s ( 100 % by Rudi but that`s my personal guess). I can insure you that there was no final interview at the Duckhouse ( based on the " last time we filmed him was there") statement. I am in a bit of trouble here. I gave my word of honour not to mention the source ( close to the band) wich debunked that last duckhouse interview.

There were a lot of conspiracy theories regarding the last time Fredde visited Montreux, stories about Rudi filming Freddie for a music video or the very last interview / talk. Most likely there's no video... unless he indeed filmed something, but it was a private tape (for Mercury's friends, loved ones or whatever) not intended to be seen by public.
