Another heads up for sky arts. They are showing a new series called Greatest Guitar Rifts" tonight (2.00am) early morning and tomorrow 24-11-23 9.00pm. The fist episode is
Series 1 Episode 1: Tony Iommi: Black Sabbath
The Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi reveals how he created the riffs that changed the genre of rock forever as Brian May of Queen joins him at his home studio for a jam session.

He was on longer than that. Played Paranoid together Brian did the solo then TYMD together. They talked about doing a collaboration and Iommi played a recording of a unheard riff and Brian said "I'd love to have a go at that" |

I thought it was a good show. Who knows what may come out of it!
Did anybody notice the shoes Tom Morello had on, more holes in them than swiss cheese, must be a new fashion. At least I can keep up with that one😎

Just seen it. Nice that it was fairly recent. Lovely to see two old mates sitting on a sofa jamming together. 👍

I thought it was a good show. Who knows what may come out of it! They've been threatening an album together for about 25 years, so probably nothing! |
