Referring to only a single song performances (not whole shows, although feel free to chime in on that as well), what are some of the lowlights in Queen's live catalog?
I'll start with Bohemian Rhapsody from Fukuoka 4/30/1979. Freddie's voice is gone, Brian hitting bum notes, wrong opera tape, etc. Pretty obvious choice I think.

The very next day Freddie's voice was even more wrecked. Perhaps a "rest day" between gigs could've helped? Probably not. And the "Opera Tape" is about the only thing about this performance that is on point.

Have to admire the man for getting through as well as he did with a very weak instrument on the night.

^Indeed.
Three years ago, I went a whole month almost unable to speak a few words before my voice would break up completely. Now imagine you're a world famous singer in the middle of an international tour and you get that kind of nasty infection, throat nodules or develop any other condition that absolutely cripples your most important skill. And he still managed to power through such a situation so many times. Some humans are tougher than others.
Please post links to all of these bad performances, we want to witness them!

There is that infamous gig from Auckland 1985... Freddie was completely wasted.

There is that infamous gig from Auckland 1985... Freddie was completely wasted. I wish a recording of that existed. If only to hear how hammered Freddie was. I'd call this one hilariously worst. This is I'm In Love With My Car Crash from Glasgow '79. Roger forgets where he's supposed to be in the song, throwing the band off before Freddie sings a line to cue Roger out of the car crash and into the chorus. He also made the same mistake when he played the song again with The Cross years later, but it wasn't as bad since he kept "holding the wheel".

just listening to SSOR from Hammy 75. now, it's not the band's worst live performance - by a long, long chalk. but, Freddie's voice is shot - and he appears to have very little control too.

Brian’s solo at the end of this is one of those “oops” moments.

I love this performance otherwise, but those harmonies around 1:18 and 2:03... 🤷🏻♂️

Somebody to Love Fukuoka 79 is the worst STL ever, Freddie’s voice was knackered and shot, he could barely get through the song even with the usual drop phrasing’s features on many songs/Watc etc. When Freddie goes for the 2nd chorus Love sustain ,his voice disintegrates into smithereens and can’t make it through without relying on rog, Freddie would say,” Save Me”(no pun intended). PS. If Greg sees this, please let me know when your next q/a is, I would like to feature😀

...It had to be interesting to say the least.

Just imagine how SSOR would sound.

There was a more than a few bemused looks in the crowd that night I can tell you lol. Oh well, it happens to the best of them.
