Back in the later 80s/early 90s I remember a Radio One afternoon show (could be Mark Goodier or Gary Davies) playing a Queen megamix in two distinct parts. Each was around 10mins in length and the included songs were the "dance" stuff: Dust, Gaga, Pressure, Free, Magic etc
I know I have them somewhere, but can't find them. does anyone know the correct titles?
Note: they were not the "great dance mixes" that are all over YT.

thanks both, but neither match I'm afraid The mixes I'm thinking of really only have around 6 (dance) tunes and none of the "chipmonk" sound effects

i think that could be it, thanks - but not completely sure. That Alan Coulthard mix, I had it on tape which I am pretty sure I recorded it from Annie Nightingale's show.

I remember buying that Queen megamix single back in the 90s. I didn't think much of it but the CD is now going for mad money on ebay.

Hmmm. There was a megamix on the "Demories Please Majesties" bootleg back in the early 90's. Now I know where it most likely came from!
