Hi everyone.
Below I post another double review (similiar to the one shared yesterday: queenchat.boards.net/thread/4983/york-city-review-melanson-billboard), published in the American music magazine CashBox on 25th May, 1974: this is a review of the shows at the Uris Theater in New York City by Queena nd Mott The Hoople, written by journalist Andy Goodman.
Speaking about Queen, Goodman defines them as the best English rock band since Led Zeppelin's debut; the 45 minute show is reviewed very well and two songs in particular are praised, 'Liar' and 'Modern Times Rock 'N' Roll' (here referred to as 'Long Gone Rock And Roll'). Goodman also hopes that the band can return to perform in New York City soon, perhaps as a headliner and not as an opening act (which will happen in 1975). Enjoy your reading!

Nice one, to the point & unpretentious. Almost like a report, not a review.
