I’ve never posted anything on queenzone but this one here looks less troll infested (and more organized (: ) so thanks a lot for making this new forum and putting up with all the work that comes with moderating this pace. I’m 23 so I was only ever able to see Queen with Lambert but thanks to some of the bootlegs you guys were kind enough share I’m at least able get a glimpse on the great stuff I missed lol.
Cheers to everyone

Hi Everyone
Finally moved over from the dark side where I didn't post much due to the playground antics. Already like the look of this forum and looking forward to learning a lot and contributing where I can. I've been a fan since 77 and have enjoyed collecting since 84 so hope to make some good friends on here. All the best Dean

Morning all; received my first digital Queen bootleg from QZ in 2003 or so but began collecting picture discs and vinyl in the early 80's. Only saw Freddie once: 1982-08-02. I am coming to you from Social Isolation in Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada! Stay safe everyone! And thank you for setting up this board. Reminds me (a little) of the setup of Expecting Rain (a good model to follow). Cheers!

Hi everyone, just stumbled upon this forum yesterday and am really happy to share my obsession with you, since there are not many other Queenies in my social circle. This is me:
Real name: Caecilia Age: 38 Location: one of the suburbs of Hamburg, Germany Seen Queen Live: Unfortunately not First Queen Album: GH II. I was a 17-year old misfit and finally doing alright 😎

Hello everyone. I've been collecting bootleg audios since at least 2017 and it has become quite a pastime. I've only recently signed on this new forum today because I've been quite busy. Hope everyone's doing okay

Hello, everyone! I'm SuperParchita, from Germany and in my early 20's. I'm a Queen fan for about 13 years now and very happy to be under like-minded people!

Hi Steve, good to reconnect! Thank you for posting this on your QZ tagline. I was wondering why it was so quiet there! You're welcome. I haven't posted there since the day after this forum opened. The place is a joke now. I just checked there today and the General Discussion has been invaded by BOTS!!

You're welcome. I haven't posted there since the day after this forum opened. The place is a joke now. I just checked there today and the General Discussion has been invaded by BOTS!! I look there every now and then, but only very briefly. The place has gone to shit. I promised myself that my last post there would be on the 12th April and to this day, I haven't posted there since.

Hi there. Despite lurking there for well over a year, I never registered at Queenzone because of its unfixed technical issues and occasionally rather sour athmosphere due to a few members.
I was probably exposed to Queen at a very early stage of my life, as from what I've heard from my parents they started listening to them around the time I was born. My mom has told me a story of how they saw the video for I'm Going Slightly Mad on TV and wondered why Freddie looked so ill - not long after that the news broke out that Freddie had died.
Anyway, as time went on me and my sister regularly listened to GH I&II (and on occasion ANATO and Innuendo, the two other Queen CDs my parents had) and grew very fond of their hits. The whole family always gathered around the TV if a Queen documentary or perhaps even concert video was broadcast on TV (Budapest '86 and Hammersmith '75 were both broadcast around the time of their respective Blu-ray releases, and there might've been others I don't remember). In my teens I started listening to heavy metal, but even then a number of Queen songs always found their way into my MP3 player.
It wasn't until the last few days of 2018 that I really started getting into Queen. I had free movie tickets which were about to expire so I suggested to my sister to go out and watch the new Queen movie ("at the very least the music is good"). While the movie took a lot of... creative liberties, it was still entertaining to the point that after a couple of days I ordered Montreal '81 on Blu-ray and Wembley '86 on DVD, so the whole family would have something to watch together again. Over the course of the year I ended up buying every studio album and officially released concert DVD/Blu-ray.
I noticed quite early on that to a band of their magnitude, there's a limited selection of official concert videos available. Being rather experienced with ROIOs/bootlegs by this point I went looking for non-official releases. It didn't take me long to notice that the best source would be Queenzone, largely thanks to the amazing restoration efforts of Chief Mouse.
I kept meaning to register there but never did. Now that the forum is on a more functional platform, there's no excuse for remaining as a lurker. I'm most likely still going to be mainly active in the Downloads section. Lately I've been experimenting with audio restoration of concert videos from a couple of other bands, and when I'm in the mood I can make half-decent cover art as well.

Hi and welcome Nuppiz. You sound like you would be a fantastic addition to our community. I look forward to seeing your contributions to the board. Thanks for the welcome! It's nice to have an active and well-managed forum for one of the bands I'm very eager to discuss.
As it happens, I do recognise a couple of members I've previously met on other music forums.

Hello everyone! Like a lot of people I’ve migrated over from Queenzone, although I only ever really lurked there. I appreciate all the hard work to set up a new forum and hope to contribute more to this one. Bio: Real Name: Will Location: UK Age: 22 Times saw Queen: Too young to have seen Queen with Freddie and John, but I've seen Queen + Adam Lambert once – four years ago now, time really flies. Trading: Don't own anything of note but greatly appreciate what people share. First Queen Album: Queen Rocks was the first release I listened to and that was because it included most of the tracks I'd heard on two videos I watched as a young child about the retirement of the F-4 Phantom in RAF service - Phantom Phinale and Phantom Phinale II.

Hello i am fan from Czech Republic, fan of Queen sice early 90's when my dad brought GH I CD. Since then, I am a big fan, slowly making my own CD/DVD/book collection, visited one Q+PR and one Q+AL concert. MY fav band member is certainly Rog, I find myself listening to his solo work prior to some of (merely pop-era) Queen stuff. Thank you for creating this forum, i hope there will be lots of fun with chatting about news or newly discovered info about Queen. Thanks a and all the best to all people around here!

Here from the Queen Bootleg Discussion Discord Server! Joined the fandom in 2019 (because of the movie, har har) and have been delving into Boolegs of shows & tours after I worked my way through their officially released catalogue. Very happy to be here and to participate in the band we're all so utterly obsessed with, or what have you!
