Happy to join here and away from that disasterZone which was the other forum site....... Hopefully there's some moderation in place to prevent the stupidity surfacing - but I still wish people would have the courage to use their real names, still, I s'pose you can't have everything, eh?
Have been disillusioned with the output of QPL for many years now and hope improvements are on the way. Even more upset and disappointed by the ranting and raving of a once great guitarist aiming to impose his beliefs and strange ways upon people that just simply want to get by in life with a bit of music to make their time here a little bit more palatable.
Really looking forward to this new space for open and honest Queen discussion.
Congrats and thanks to "The Makers".

Greetings. I'm a long-time Queen fan (since about 1981). I'm pretty much a fan of their '70's output only. I found out about this Forum via the 'other board'.

Hello, everybody! I come here after following Queenzone for the last 10/15 years? However, this forum looks like something fresh and exciting. Thank you guys for setting it up. I come from Spain. Been a fan from the moment I saw Flash Gordon. Earliest Queen memory? Listening to Mustapha in 1978. I was lucky enough to see Queen live in 1986 (Madrid). I've also seen Brian May, Queen & Paul Rodgers and Queen + Adam Lambert (much better). Stories? A lot. See you around!

Heya.
Kiwi. sub-50 (just). Never saw initial incarnation of the band, just the new, improved version. Hoping this place is successful in keeping out the crap that has infested the other place.
Collected stuff over the years, though being at the arse-end of the world nothing of any real interest to share.

Dutch Queen fan since 1991, wasn't able to see 'real' Queen with Freddie because of my age, but these are the gigs I attended:
Brian May: June 1993 Rotterdam, The Netherlands November 1993: Dรผsseldorf, Germany September 1998: Utrecht, The Netherlands
Queen + Paul Rodgers: April 2005: Rotterdam, The Netherlands April 2005: Antwerpen, Belgium September 2008: Antwerpen, Belgium October 2008: Hamburg, Germany
Queen + Adam Lambert: January 2015: Amsterdam, The Netherlands May 2016: Jelling, Denmark November 2017: Amsterdam, The Netherlands June 2018: Herning, Denmark July 2019: Los Angeles, United States of America

Hi, I'm boffy. I first got into Queen via the "Rocks" compilation, then Queen I, then I was hooked. I went to both QPR tours, but was born after their last tour with Freddie, so I never saw the original line-up live. Perhaps that's why I obsessively collect every scrap of live footage I can find to buy or otherwise.
I haven't posted much on the old forum because I've rarely had much worth saying, but even I've noticed it coming apart at the seams for a while. Thank you for creating a new home for the kind of interesting information and unofficial releases I went there for.
