Hey everyone. Nice to become part of this new forum. I used to be a QZ regular, like about a decade ago, but I did post on there from time to time in recent years too. My name on there has been almost the same as here as of late. Some of us are also connected on facebook and discord - Bob, Chief, Chin, Greg, Ryan Newton, inuliger. Have I missed anyone? I'm on the list, so nope

Claim to fame: My second cousin managed Queen and Elton John. His name is John Reid. I've never met him. Met Brian and Roger at the King's Theatre in 2011. Brian was nice, Roger was okay to me but a dick to others - probably because I didn't wave shit in his face. Also met Rufus, who was very down to earth and happy to talk for ages. Neato. Ever thought of connecting with him?
And yep, bang on for both Roger and Rufus. Who woulda thunk, treat a rock star like a human being and they'll do the same in return? Good on ya.
Nah, I won't purse that road lol. My mum hasn't seen him since she was wee. He won't even know I exist. From what I have heard and read, he's quite the colourful character, putting it mildly. |

Joxer was all that you say he was. Like I said, we talked that much on Facebook that people on my list actually assumed that I knew him in person. Sadly it was only through fb. Still like to think of him up there chatting away with Freddie as he would say "dreckly" and having a few pints and pasties (Cornish of course lol). Even reading drecklying brings a smile to my face. I used to tease him about the east of Canada sending the bad weather his way. He probably is one of the top 3 guys I ever got to know on Queen boards. Same here. Top bloke he was. And yes even I now say Dreckly because of him lol |

Thanks to eberybody involved for starting this new forum! I visited queenzone frequently since 2001 or 2002, under different names, without having contributed much. I am Queen fan since my older brother bought the Innuendo LP on the day it came out. Saw Brian on both tours, both of the Queen + PR tours and skipped Queen + AL, allthough I like that they carry on with him.
