Hey everyone, great to see a new community starting and also very refreshing to find other things of interest to everyone in a different section, for example the goodbye yellow brick road multitrack! Great idea to post them, one of my favourite songs that isn’t Queen in fact.

It was and he defended it quite strongly as I remember. He was a great guy on QZ and sadly missed as was Joxer (Jon Mills) who I used to have daily conversations with on Facebook. Im not in contact with many of the QZ lot on facebook, only Ali James (now Amanda Binkholder), Your Valentine (Barbara) and Richard Guilbault (cant remember his username on QZ) Queenzone was good back in the day, but it has drastically went downhill and got to the point that it unsaveable I think. Joxer was an amazing man. I only ever knew him via Facebook, but he's for sure missed. One of the kindest, funniest Queen fans I ever got to know. Joxer was all that you say he was. Like I said, we talked that much on Facebook that people on my list actually assumed that I knew him in person. Sadly it was only through fb. Still like to think of him up there chatting away with Freddie as he would say "dreckly" and having a few pints and pasties (Cornish of course lol). |

I used to tease him about the east of Canada sending the bad weather his way. He probably is one of the top 3 guys I ever got to know on Queen boards. |

This had to happen, for 10 years now QZ has not been updated. finally a place to have all the regular discussion without the loan bots and the trolls.

Hi all - I'm TruePar from QZ. Been a member there for many, many years. Posted a lot to start then lurked for many years after. I have been interesting in chatting about Queen again for a while, but was no point on QZ. Hoping to spend time on here now.

Claim to fame: My second cousin managed Queen and Elton John. His name is John Reid. I've never met him. Met Brian and Roger at the King's Theatre in 2011. Brian was nice, Roger was okay to me but a dick to others - probably because I didn't wave shit in his face. Also met Rufus, who was very down to earth and happy to talk for ages. Neato. Ever thought of connecting with him?
And yep, bang on for both Roger and Rufus. Who woulda thunk, treat a rock star like a human being and they'll do the same in return? Good on ya.
