Not sure how to introduce myself here but I will just say so several years ago I was in Barcelona and every night they play the song from the Olympics back in the early 90s maybe. It's a really nice thing to watch with water and lights and the music is proper good loud It goes through your body is lovely.

Hi folks, Brand new here but not in the Queen World. I'm from France, I discovered Queen at the end of 1991 in listening the Greatest Hits II. I'm a record collector since 1995 I guess. I'm the webmaster (is this word still used ?...) of Queen Jewels (a Queen's collector site)
I've seen live : - Brian twice in 1998 and once in 2013
- Roger once in 2021
- Queen + PR twice (2005 & 2008)
- Queen + AL twice (2015 & 2022 )

Hope to be able to find out some interesting stuff and contribute, Been mad on Queen some 45 years or so now.
Had plenty of criticism over the years about this, so glad to be part of like minded people now. Its never too late.
1st gig was 1978 at Wembley Empire Pool which I am still looking for a decent bootleg of???
This was my favorite gig ever because it made such an impression on me that I will never forget. I saw them loads of times over the years and continue still seeing them solo or tbh anything Queen related. I did get on the Wembley DVD (Friday night version, front row) which is a source of amusement for my 21year old daughter, seeing me back then.
I have most Queen records and solo stuff, love vinyl collecting. Have all the Videos, DVDs, cassettes, CDs. (with a few gaps)
Favorite album is probably always going to be News of the World.
Favorite song is either Who wants to live Forever or Innuendo (explosive mix) or Somebody to Love.

As normal I’ve done things the wrong way around, I’ve been a lurker for a while making the occasional post or reply, I started listening to Queen seriously in 1986, sadly too late to see the great man himself, my wife and I have seen Queen + Paul Rogers a couple of times and with Adam Lambert 3 times, I won’t open up a whole debate but Paul was a better guest band member🤣🤣, I’m a bit of a collector of all things Queen and every now and then I go through a phase of buying more stuff I’ll probably never use. I was an active member of the qol forum many years ago but lost a bit of interest in it and I’m currently in another buying mood so scouring eBay for stuff I haven’t got.

I've known about Queen for years but only started listening recently. My favorite song so far is Keep Yourself Alive and my favorite band member is Brian.
Other than that, I absolutely adore Tom Petty and David Bowie as well as rock in general (too many faves to list).
