Hi everyone.
Below I propose a short report on Queen published in the American music magazine Billboard on 23rd February 1991. These are two short articles regarding: 1) the entry of Queen's new album 'Innuendo' into the American Billboard 200 chart; journalist Paul Grein looks back at Queen's last few years in the US charts, citing the success of 'The Game' in 1980. Below, the scan of the short clip (the albums 'The Soul Cages' by Sting and 'Into The Light' by Gloria Estefan are also mentioned).
2) the party organized by Hollywood Records for the launch of 'Innuendo', which was held on 2nd February 1991 on board the Queen Mary yacht in Los Angeles. In this article, titled Hollywood Throws Party Fit For Queen, reporters Geoff Mayfield and Ed Christian list the guest list at the lavish party, which celebrated not only the band's new studio work, but also Queen's debut as an artist on the newly formed Hollywood Records label. Below is the scan of the article in question and a photograph (taken from the same issue of the magazine) which immortalizes Brian May and Roger Taylor with Anita Dobson, the president of Hollywood Records Peter Paterno and the CEO of the Walt Disney Co. Michael D. Eisner (remember that Hollywood Records was founded in Burbank in 1989 by Eisner himslef as a way of expanding the Walt Disney's music operations by looking to develop and promote the careers of a wide variety of artists in various genres). Some details on the running of the party and the attractions present are also provided.

Ah, the 90s - when writing down the names of party attendees necessitated TWO journalists....
