Hi everyone.
Today's article was taken from the American music magazine CashBox of 27th April 1974: inserted in the on the road again section, the article announces that Queen's first North American tour has been confirmed. It is written that the British band had considerable success after the release of their first album 'Queen' and that the American tour will coincide with the release of their second album 'Queen II' - released on 9th April 1974 by Elektra, a month after released in the UK.
Below is a scan of the article which lists the dates of the tour, from 16th April to 1st June 1974; obviously, given Brian May's hepatitis and Queen's return to their homeland, all dates from 14th May onwards were canceled and never recovered. Enjoy the reading!
