Hi everyone.
Today I share with you a beautiful interview with Queen held by the English journalist Jill Eckersley and published in the English magazine Look Now in the second half of 1975; unfortunately I was unable to find the exact date of the issue of the magazine in question, but certainly (given the contents of the interview) it was printed on paper between the months of October and November 1975.
Eckerlsey visits Queen in the studio in East London (most likely Sarm Studios) during the making of the album 'A Night At The Opera': the interview, in which Freddie, Brian and Roger are involved, develops on different themes , first of all the content of the new album (it is Freddie who reveals to the journalist that the band is taking a long time to create the new album due to the use of many harmonies and new guitar techniques never experimented with by them before). Eckersley then talks about the great success of the album 'Sheer Heart Attack', the great affection of the British public towards the boys, the tour in North America and Japan that Queen held at the beginning of the year, but also about the business problems and health problems that the group had to face in the last year.
Eckersley also reveals that Brian's girlfriend (Chrissie Mullen?) is a big reader of the magazine.
A great interview! Enjoy!
