Hi everyone.
On 6th April 1981, EMI launched Roger Taylor's first solo album, entitled 'Fun In Space'; below I present a review of it, published on the American music magazine Billboard on 18th April 1981.
This is a positive review of the album: it is emphasized that the content of the album has little in common with Queen's work (due to the numerous synthesizers and futuristic lyrics), but it is appreciated, as it is claimed to have something in common with Pink Floyd's more ambitious work. Also listed as best tracks on the LP are 'No Violins', 'Let's Get Crazy' (released as a single in the US), 'Laugh Or Cry' (B-side of the previous one) and the title track 'Fun In Space'.
Below is the short review and the Elektra advertisement that appeared in the same issue of the magazine. Enjoy!
